Actually, it was more a cheap ploy for me to send people to my blog – not a cheap ploy to get more twitter followers. There’s actually nothing about following me in the rules, you only have to tweet about it.

And yes, it also simply makes it easy to pick a winner. I could have had people email me, but that wouldn’t increase site traffic like everyone twittering my URL, and it would require putting my email address up there for every spambot in the world to glom on to.

eDRoaCH I think he just trying to be nice and this is a quick and easy way for him to pick a winner. As for twitter they are a service and should not care if a person try to up there followers, this is good for twitter. Also if twitter goes away I am sure something new will replace it, the net is not stuck in one place it is always changeing.

While I really want the game, I am waiting for it on steam.

that said, please dont do these twitter contests, they are really just one step up from the spam that is plaguing twitter and will impact the usability and the future of the service

and no, I am not a twitter employee. There are more genuine ways to get followers.
