<description>Your Guide to upgrading hard drives of April 2009 / extremetech.com

Hi Jason,

I just wanted to send you a heartfelt thank you for that guide you published on extremetech.com. I had been searching the internet high and low for some step-by-step guide on how to do this and yours was the only one that took the time to actually explain the problem with the partitions and the subsequent resizing, etc. All others simply said that you needed to adjust partition sizes later on.

I am an experienced computer user but have never done hd cloning before before, strangely enough, so this was great. I am really thankful for the article, the pictures, the clear language. That the laptop you used happened to be the same as mine (a Dell M1330) was the icing on the cake. Great job. This is one article I am going to keep!

Greetings from Dallas, TX
